What?

What makes a good leader? Is it a natural talent you either possess or do not possess? Is it a set of personality traits, which can be nourished and developed? Is it a matter of skills and insights? Is it a combination of teachable techniques, styles, and mannerisms; can it be learned from a book? Or is it simply a title that comes with your position within a company, nothing more? And does a good leader always steer you in the right direction?

We believe that answering the first question, what makes a good leader?, is a crucial step towards becoming one. Because you cannot do something you do not understand. Therefore, to become a great leader, we will explore together with you what it means to be one.

Once you understand leadership from a new perspective, we will guide you while you explore which are your strengths and weaknesses relating to leadership. We will accompany you on your journey of self-assessment and awareness. While doing so, our main focus will always be you: your goals and your expectations.

Our last step in the leadership coaching trajectory will be to help you put those new insights into practice. We will help you decide what to do and make a plan of action. And once you start applying those steps, we will be there for follow-up and to offer guidance if and when you run into obstacles.

Through this process, you will gain confidence in your leadership skills. The results will surprise you.

What to expect?

We will challenge you to explore who you want to be as a leader, and then we will guide you as you venture into applying those values and skills. We will guide you past your obstacles and help you reflect on what hinders you along your journey of leadership. We work towards the goals that are important to you! For this, our sessions will be focused on 4 main themes:

  1. What am I looking for? What do I expect? What do I struggle with?

  2. What makes (me) a good leader?

  3. What are my skills, my strengths, and my weaknesses in relation to this? (self-assessment)

  4. How do I become a (better) leader?

We are focused on the “how” of your leadership, rather than which decisions to make. Though we realize that leadership also involves vision, leading your team in the right direction, and recognizing key business goals (and how to get there), our sessions will mainly focus on personal growth and developing leadership skills.

For whom?

Anyone! You don’t need to be a leader to benefit from these sessions.

  • You feel you are not (yet) a leader and you want to become one

  • You are a member of the team and want to better understand your direct leader and the decisions (s)he makes

  • You already assume a leadership position, but you want to further grow into it

  • You do not have any need for leadership skills or understanding leadership in a professional context, but you want to apply it in your personal life
