What?

Mind and body are one. However, often we see them as two separate entities. We have gradually become dissociated, from our bodies, from our loved ones and our peers, from nature and our environment. As a consequence, we have lost the harmony, the subtle dance that balances all life. We have lost our connection.

Restoring this connection is the aim of these sessions. For doing so, we will use the recent scientific insights in the field of Mind-Body Medicine. Mind-Body Medicine employs many different techniques, allowing us to adjust the selected techniques, such as meditation exercises, visualization, yoga, expression exercises, and many more. Each technique in its own way will be aimed at reducing stress and increasing your sense of connection. These techniques are designed to bring back balance in mind, body, and emotions, and will always be selected based on your personality and your needs

Additionally, we will focus on educating different aspects of the mind-body connection, as with understanding comes awareness, which often can be the first step towards change.

Stress

Often, when we notice the signals of our bodies, other subtle signals have already been ignored. These signals can be related to physical wellbeing, to emotions, or they can be caused by our thoughts. Ignoring these signals habitually, will eventually lead to stress, physical symptoms, and disease.

Stress is often ignored and research has shown that chronic stress causes inflammation. Inflammation, in turn, is the root of almost all diseases. As such, it has been proven that stress either causes or aggravates over 90% of the symptoms and diseases that are the reason for a medical consultation.
